Som Sak. A Thai place on White Horse Road near the Ritz in Voorhees NJ.
Thai cuisine. I have eaten there lots of times before and after the movies. There pad Thai is excellent, also tonight I had garlic seafood with brown rice, excellent. For appetizers chicken on a stick with peanut sauce(forgot name) and crab dumplings. EVERYTHING I have gotten there has been good. Tonight I took my sister from Maine and her mother in law from Stratford.

Not sure how often some of you venture into the suburbs, but last night I went to a BYOB Italian place in Lafayette Hills, called From the Boot. My boyfriend's friends all have gone a few times and love it, so we joined them last night. Not bad. I was the only bonafide Italian at the table. And while I wouldn't call it the best I've ever had, it was good, very reasonable and seems like a crowd favorite. I had their Veal Chop special, served atop gnocci. The other dishes at the table included some pasta and seafood and chicken. Mostly, it's your basic, safe Italian dishes. But, if you're near Chestnut Hill, Lafayette Hill o Plymouth Meeting, it's right on Germantown Pike, across the street from Brittingham's Pub. I would not recomend the meatballs, though. They were very tough to cut. ??? If you do go, one other caveat: they are always crowded. We got there at 6:30 (on a Friday!) to try and beat the crowds, but they were already at a 45 minute wait. They do uncork your wine or beer, so you can sip while waiting for a table.

Good idea, especially for those of us that live in the burbs!
