downtown Philadelphia dog-friendly spots 3 Replies

Center City, Old City, Rittenhouse... River to river, Spring Garden to Washington Ave. If it is dog-friendly, write about it here.

You probably want other amusements before or after the dining event. Share your discoveries here.

A little further afield... Gracie's in Stowe, VT.
Despite being an incredibly dog-friendly town, and having lots of eating establishments with outside seating, Gracie's is the only place where you can bring your dog with while dining out in Stowe. Thank goodness it is such a great place that I would eat there if there were lots more options. Your typical bar foods are very high quality and the dinner specials are usually worth trying. Good beer list and great drinks. What else could you ask for?

Ok Karin, you did not put the Old City Cheese shop on your doggie list? I did see you did a review of it. But it would be grand to take Boas there and site under the lovely natural tree canopy behind the building. And the food is great, and not pricey. 12.95 for brunch. Fruit, homemade muffin, juice, tea, and main course(veggie casadia(sp))

Yes, the food is fabulous and we love that it is fresh and seasonal. But, even better for Boas, the outdoor eating area is a patio on the side of the restaurant. No hiding under the table to avoid being trod upon by passersby.
